“Serendipity favours the prepared mind”.
I first heard this from the late Dr. John R Lee, MD, my teacher and friend, who played basketball with our kids in the garden. The humble and brilliant doctor was very happy when I phoned him in Sebastopol, CA, and invited him to Scandinavia, especially so because his grandparents came from Lom in Norway.
We translated his first book, ‘Natural Progesterone – The Story of a remarkable hormone’ to Norwegian and toured Norway and Denmark lecturing on how to reverse osteoporosis.
John had already made quite a bit of a stir in the conservative medical fraternity by publishing his one hundred percent cure for this disease, in prestigious journals as Lancet and New England Journal of Medicine.
The success was easy to duplicate and follow:
- Transdermal natural progesterone cream applied twice a day on the skin.
- Lifestyle changes, such as avoiding foods that act like mineral thieves on the skeleton and eating more alkaline producing food.
On average it took about 2 years to reverse this brittle bone disease, for which orthodox medical doctors offered no cure, only oestrogen, calcium supplements…and learn to live with it.
Later I added restructured, alkaline water and certain herbs to speed up the process and documented that it was quite possible to reduce the reversal process and get a complete cure in 9 months – even if the patients was on HRT (Hormone Replacements Treatment), had experienced fractures and was on a severe health decline.
It was a joyful time of learning from this gentle and world known authority.
Perhaps it was my naivety that led me to believe that this incredible reversal of osteoporosis was going to be shared with joy in Norway, especially as we are ranked as the number one country of brittle bone victims, and more people are dying of complications of this disease than of breast cancer.
But we could not find any joy, only a hostile reception in the medical fraternity, and Dr John R Lee`s scientific work was blocked and not accepted in the main doctor`s publication in Norway…
As I write in my new book (soon to be released), ‘New Lease of Life’, the three headed troll had appeared once again.
We had now bonded as friends and were not dismayed by the old school of thought who said, and still do, that osteoporosis is an incurable disease. Period.
Why, when we have proved it is very curable, 100% as documented scientifically.
Why? Because it is our domain. We cast the dice, said the three-headed troll.
Meanwhile, the informed (and it is all out there for free) unshackle their chains and stop being victims, and will be healed and set free! Isn’t that wonderful?
I think my friend, John, the kind and healing doctor is smiling.
Therapeutically Yours, GVE
